This is Youth Racing – not Pee Wee Football.  Motorsports is held to a higher degree of sportsmanship than most other sports.  Race Car Drivers are seen as \’heros\’ and looked up to, and we are a Racing Community sharing a passion for the sport – when you come to KAM you are part of that Community.  But most importantly this is Driver Development years and the emphasis is on training/coaching, kids learning how to drive, mastering technique & gaining confidence while they move up the motorsports progression ladder.  As one of our Pit Mom\’s put it; \”It\’s more fun to win!\” – it\’s more important to do it safely while gaining needed skills and understanding, and showing Sportsmanship at all times.

Guests not adhering to the above code, or behaving inappropriately will be asked to leave the facility, and if you are associated with a race team, that driver could be penalized for their guest’s actions.  Please remember to be courteous and considerate while at the track, around the pits and in the stands.

Racers: there is a printable copy of this \”Fan Guide\” on the Forms page for you to print and hand out to your guests, friends and family.  It is imperative that all Spectators and race Participants know and understand the rules and policies of the track before a violation occurs. One bad situation can ruin a child\’s racing dream, or prevent them from having a successful motorsports career beyond karting.

The KAM Race Officials desire for everyone to have a great time and enjoy the program!
